Explore the Game-Changing reWASD 9.0: New Features, Better Performance, and Enhanced Control
Meet the New Advanced Feature – Custom Crosshair
This update introduces a game-changing feature: Custom Crosshair. Designed to enhance precision and elevate your gameplay experience, it allows you to create, customize, and overlay crosshairs in any game. Note that the first version of Crosshairs may require Windowed mode without borders for certain games, such as Apex Legends. Customize your style, choose from various designs, and create up to 10 unique sights for different weapons or environments, making aiming easier and more efficient.
This advanced feature is automatically included in all subscription plans, including the Lifetime Access Plan, at no additional cost. Merry Christmas!
We’re also offering a free upgrade to the Lifetime Access Plan for users with legacy licenses that include all six advanced features (Full Pack). Once upgraded, you'll gain access to the Custom Crosshair along with all the features you already have. To claim your upgrade, visit your personal account and click Switch to Lifetime Access next to your legacy license.
You've been asking us… and here we are: 1000Hz Reporting Rate
Take your gaming to the next level with the new 1000Hz reporting rate for virtual devices. This ultra-high polling rate ensures the smoothest input performance, reducing latency and enhancing responsiveness for fast-paced games.
This feature is especially beneficial for gamers who use gamepad cycling macros, delivering a significant boost in speed. However, be aware that enabling the 1000Hz setting may increase CPU usage, potentially impacting game performance on less powerful systems.
It’s worth noting that this feature does not change the reporting rate of virtual Switch Pro or DualShock 3, as these devices adhere to their hardware specifications for maximum compatibility. Also, reWASD doesn't change physical controller firmware or original reporting rate limits.
Expanded Device Support and New Features
We’ve added support for three new devices: Asus ROG Ally X, Flydigi Vader 4 Pro, and HORI Wireless HORIPAD for Steam. This ensures a seamless experience with these popular controllers.
Additionally, we’ve introduced the option to remap the horizontal mouse scroll, providing even greater control and customization for your setup. Now you can map these inputs, offering new ways to optimize gameplay or enhance how you manage your PC.
Please note, some mice may encounter issues with side scroll functionality if their original software is installed. For instance, with Logitech Logi Options+, the horizontal scroll will not function properly with reWASD.
Easy-peasy to get access - convenient Google Authentication

This quick and secure option simplifies the process and saves time, so you can jump straight into your remapping process without delays. Fixes – Radial Menu Enhancements
We’ve made significant improvements to the Radial Menu for a smoother and more intuitive experience. An issue where Toggle Shift prevented exiting the Radial Menu after combining devices into a Composite has been fixed. Additionally, we resolved a problem where the Radial Menu would close immediately upon first use, as well as an issue where it returned to the previous slot after exiting. These updates ensure the Radial Menu operates seamlessly in all scenarios.
Fixes – General Improvements
Beyond the Radial Menu, we’ve addressed several critical issues to enhance overall functionality. Xbox Series/One Controller vibration, which previously required a restart to function properly, now works as expected. We’ve resolved an issue where gyro-to-virtual mouse/stick sensitivity doubled when switching from the Main to the Second Shift layer. The Share button on Xbox Series controllers now operates correctly when connected via dongle or cable. Additionally, we fixed an issue where physical sticks moved in jerks in the central zone when a virtual output gamepad was applied to a physical device or a virtual controller was created. Lastly, we resolved an issue where group virtual stick mappings in Gyro mode failed to work directly on the physical gamepad and instead required a virtual controller.
