Use reWASD to play Valorant with controller

Use reWASD to play Valorant with controller

A recent Valorant update changed the way the game reacts to the input from several devices. As you know, reWASD emulates a Virtual mouse and keyboard, so if you play Valorant with controller, technically, the game detects 2 mice and 2 keyboards. That’s why we deliver this part of an update: now you can emulate the needed devices on behalf of your physical ones! Make sure to visit Preferences — Input devices and play Valorant with controller without a second thought :)

If this is the first time you heard about the immaculate reWASD + Valorant tandem, or you are in search for a good control scheme to play Valorant with controller, feel free to browse the Valorant controller support configs shared by other users to our community. And of course, do not hesitate to download the latest version of reWASD.

Desktop Overlay novelties and improvements

Desktop Overlay novelties and improvements

You have been using the overlay since reWASD 5.7 came out, haven’t you? Guess what, we have added even more options to tune. Choose the monitor where the Notifications will appear, try out the Minimized notifications to save some space, keep Shift mode notifications displayed while a Shift layer is active, and set a Shortcut to show Descriptions instead of actual mappings!

Now that you know what to expect, check out a more detailed description on a Desktop Overlay manual page, and make sure to let us know what you think. If it weren’t for you, some of these features may have never appeared in reWASD

Use the config contextual menu to Open the location from the reWASD interface directly. For all the lefties that use Azeron keypad, now you can choose to Switch to the Lefty layout on the Initialization page, or through the Azeron contextual menu. And last but not least, use reWASD powers with FragFX Shark and Piranha, and PowerA Fusion for Switch!
