Handheld Gaming PC's Compatibility

Handheld Gaming PC's Compatibility

Introducing support for Handheld Gaming PCs, including Asus ROG Ally, AOKZOE A1, or any other Windows-supported console. Built-in controllers typically are detected as Xbox 360 controllers. We don't currently have full support for Asus ROG Ally native controller, so some functions (such as mapping to paddles and gyroscope) are limited.
And don't think we forgot about Steam Deck. If you have Windows on Steam Deck, you can also run reWASD there, which allows you to seamlessly connect and customize your gaming experience on these consoles. This time we added full SteamDeck controller support that allows you to use back buttons and touchpads, including its pressure zones.
Virtual Gyroscope Emulation

Virtual Gyroscope Emulation

We introduce the first version of the virtual gyroscope. In this version, users are able to emulate gyroscopic controls and map virtual gyro inputs to gamepad sticks, keyboards, or mouse buttons.
It's important to note that in the first version of the virtual gyroscope feature, mapping to mouse movements, shaking mode, as well as the tilt function are not available.
Enjoy enhanced gameplay by leveraging gyroscopic functionality, even on controllers that lack native gyro support.

A new visual indicator within the GUI provides quick insight into your reWASD features and license status. Features are color-coded for easy reference: reWASD yellow - license or feature is paid; orange - license of feature is in trial period; light grey - trial expired; dark grey - unactivated feature with the available trial.
We've also added a feature that checks configs to see if the necessary features are available. If users attempt to use a configuration that includes unavailable features, we'll display a notification in the header and provide an explanation for why the config may not function as intended.
New type of ESP32 and expanded controller support

New type of ESP32 and expanded controller support

Added support for the Hori Fighting Commander OCTA Designed for Xbox Series X/S, offering more customization options for this controller.
Meet the cutting-edge alternative to GIMX - ESP32-S2. Since GIMX is no longer supported by its developer, this option is particularly valuable for users looking for an equivalent solution to GIMX. We're introducing a new way for wired external device connections that work with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or any other USB-compatible gaming device.
